Zuanich Point Park is one of Bellingham’s true treasures. This 4.4 acre waterfront park is located  along the shores of Squalicum Harbor, and is a popular venue for community events, maritime celebrations, kite flying, picnics, and more.

A lovely paved promenade path connects Zuanich Point Park to Squalicum Harbor and the Bellwether on the Bay Development, where you’ll find many local restaurants, businesses, and the stunning waterfront Bellwether Hotel.

Park amenities include many lovely benches to rest and take in the views, a marine themed children’s play area, a fully paved path perfect for bike riding or jogging, picnic tables for fun meals in the park, and water access via a dock at the edge of the park.

The northwest edge of Zuanich Point Park is also home to the local Fisher’s Memorial honoring those residents who lost their lives while fishing in the local waters off Bellingham Bay.

The park promenade continues on through Squalicum Harbor and Marina where you’ll see local boats tied up at dock, fisherman unloading their catch and tending to their nets, or sail boats headed out to enjoy a breezy day on the water.

Past Squalicum Harbor, lies the Marine Life Touch Tank facility, a great stop for those interested in local marine life. Here you can explore hands on, the variety of sea life, common to these waters.

Back at the Squalicum Harbor Boat launch, you’ll find waterfront eateries before finally reaching the end of the promenade at the Hotel Bellwether.
