Cuisine: Japanese, Sushi Bar ($$)
Kuru Kuru Sushi provides a fast, high quality substitute for traditional sit-down sushi restaurants with its unique conveyor belt approach. Patrons sit at a bar, stretching the length of the restaurant, and pick from sushi travelling in front of them on the conveyor belt. From an open kitchen located behind the bar, sushi is constantly being prepared by several sushi chefs, who work hard to keep the conveyor belt stocked with plates of varied asian delicacy. Each plate on average holds (3) rolls, and pricing is determined by the color plate one selects. This is a great way to enjoy sushi if you don’t want to spend the typical time needed at traditional Japanese restaurants, and the cost of meals is easily tallied by counting the number of colored plates. Reservations not accepted. However, takeout is conveniently available.
